Vaccinating and providing children with food is crucial as this protects them from suffering from Noma.

Encouraging Results

At the end of 2010, the Hilfsaktion can be pleased with the results. Regional centers throughout the country and the cooperation with the health ministry have made it possible to significantly lower the number of new Noma cases.
