The media coverage of the organization, especially in Stern TV and Bavarian Television, has motivated others to help Noma patients. A Regensburg orthopedist and German marathon champion organized a marathon relay from Regensburg to Rome, followed by a second relay to Santiago de Compostela in Spain. All runners paid for their own expenses so that the money from sponsors could be used to help children with Noma. About 175,000 euros were raised this way. Another man decided to read to audiences during Christmas time. These events have raised about 35,000 euros to date.
